EXCELLENT REASONS

For almost twenty years we have been working on our stone carpet products. We cooperate with renowned research institutes in order develop a modern and environmentally friendly product. It is no coincidence that all leading DIY-shops sell RAVELLO stone carpets. Firms, too, such as Mercedes-Benz have been repeatedly using our products in their show rooms. For consumer friendly DIY-application, RAVELLO has developed the package system per square meter. There is a generous amount of material in the system packages per square meter, so that you can safely finish your project. THE ADHESIVE AGENTS

Time and again, dangerous ingredients in various building materials put a strain on our health. We always test for environmental compatibility and we carefully select the ingredients we use. We want to protect your health. Our products do not contain any nonylphenol or solvents. When we design our adhesive agents, we only use German products of high quality. Some internet dealers are irresponsible and sell similar products without having the necessary specialist knowledge. Time and again dangerous adhesive agents with uncertain origin are being sold. Normal consumers are unable to tell the difference.

Epoxy or polyurethane? One component or two components? Which adhesive agent is best suited for stone carpets? There is not one answer to these questions. Or are you familiar with the best glue for all materials? It has been said at times that epoxy is not as good but cheaper than polyurethane or the other way round. These claims are uninformed and wrong. The individual qualities are very different and which one to use needs to be decided depending on the area of application. This is why RAVELLO intentionally offers different variants. Here, too, experience and a good mixture are important! Who indeed knows that there are hundreds of different types and forms of epoxy or polyurethane?

THE STONES

We create our collections true to our motto: »quality instead of quantity«. RAVELLO stone carpet consists of carefully selected natural stones. We import from all over the world. Form, colour and purity play a crucial role when choosing a collection. We use mostly marble stones. The stones are being rounded in the water, then washed and dried. Every individual square meter is cleaned carefully before dispatch. Thus, we can minimise the amount of dust of RAVELLO stone carpet. Some providers use sharp edged or only slightly rounded marble pebbles and contaminated colours (high degrees of dust and fine grains). Not every type of commercially available stones can be used for the stone carpet product. A wrong choice can later lead to the development of stains or problems with the adhesion. You will only be able to tell the difference once the floor has been laid or even months later. We intentionally refrain from using dyed stones (coloured quartz) and glass products.
