In areas, where surfaces need to be particularly slip resistant, fine grained glass chips can be interspersed. Due to the fact that permanent wetness is to be expected outdoors, we do not recommend the coating of the step risers (the perpendicular upstand of a staircase), because this can lead to discolouring. Here you should use established materials (plaster, coats of paint, ceramics and so on).
