The coating of staircases is a special case in point. Here, floor and wall products are combined with each other. The difference is the usage of the adhesive agents. The treads are coated with RAVELLO stone carpet indoor flooring and the step risers (the perpendicular upstand of a staircase) are coated with RAVELLO stone carpet indoor walls. Both systems are separated from each other with an end strip/staircase edge profile. While you can chose form three different grain sizes for the areas of the treads, you can only use fine graining for the areas of the step risers. Slight differences in the colouring between the treads and the step risers cannot be excluded due to the different adhesive agents.
